English as a Second Langauge Teaching Program

Considering a new and rewarding career? Flexible hours appeal to you?

Then the English-as-a-Second-Language teaching program at Brooklyn College Continuing Education is right for you!

This intensive teaching program will prepare you to be an English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor. The full non-credit program includes five core classes and a teaching practicum.

Each class will be integrated with theory and practice and has a teaching component that allows you to practice what you have observed in the classroom.

Requirements:

A baccalaureate degree is generally required, however, applicants with at
least 60 credits of college level course work will be considered.
