BC Students on the CBS Early Show

As part of College Month, CBS invited CUNY students to be a part of the audience during the CBS Early Show. Brooklyn College students braved the cold and wind on Friday, October 23, 2009 at seven in the morning to represent the college and the City University of New York. Thirty-two students accompanied by Dean Milga Morales, Dean of Student Affairs; Pamela Holmes, Assistant to the Dean for Civic Engagement & Student Diversity Programs; and David Wells, Civc Engagement & Student Diversity Programs, arrived in Brooklyn College attire with high spirits. Afterwards, BC students were given a tour of the studio floor by a studio employee.

BC Walks for a Cure

Brooklyn College students, staff and friends braved the rainy and cold morning on Sunday, October 18 to show their support for the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk in Prospect Park. It was an overwhelming experience to see how the Brooklyn College Community came together to show their support and be part of the excitement that filled Prospect Park. After awhile, you couldn't feel the rain anymore!

On behalf of Brooklyn College Health Programs, Brooklyn College supporters, the Brooklyn College Student Athlete Advisory Committee, Brooklyn College Taking a Stand, and other BC Team Leaders - THANK YOU! Together we made a difference! See you all next year!
