Scholarships and awards are administered by the Office of Scholarships. A competition is held each year for all awards not assigned to a specific department or program. A general application is available in September. Detailed requirements and other information are available in the office. Unless specifically stated, financial need is not a criterion.
Descriptions of the scholarships and awards relate only to primary qualifications. individual donor requirements vary, and each department or area makes final decisions based on donor authorization and rules and regulations of the Faculty Council Committee on Honors, Citations, and Awards.
Scholarships are awarded without regard to gender, race, religion, national origin, or financial need.
