Louise Chernosky is a Ph.D. candidate in musicology at Columbia University and Editor-in-Chief of the journal
Current Musicology. Her research interests include American experimentalism, gender politics in music, and music
in broadcast media. She has done work on environmentalism in George Crumb’s music and Brenda Hutchinson’s
blend of ethnography and composition, and is currently writing a dissertation titled “Voices and Authority in
American Public Radio.” |
