| TITLE: |
We Live We Struggle - To Benefit Haitian Women for Haitian Refugees |
| DESCRIPTION: |
Written and performed by students of Brooklyn College Academy High School, We Live We Struggle follows the story of a young woman in Brooklyn caught in an abusive relationship while exploring connections between Brooklyn and Haiti in the wake of the earthquake. In part inspired by the story of Magalie Marcelin, a leading Haitian feminist who died in the Earthquake, our story interweaves the story of a young woman's struggle in Brooklyn with the history of struggle in Haiti.
