The Department of History presents:
“Murder in the Metro,” a talk by Gayle K. Brunelle and Annette Finley-
Professors Brunelle and Finley-Croswhite will speak about their new book, Murder in the Metro: Laetitia Toureaux and the Cagoule in 1930s France (Louisiana State Press, 2010). Professor Brunelle is Professor of History at California State University, Fullerton, and author of The New World Merchants of Rouen, 1555-1630 (1991). She is also the author of a forthcoming book on Samuel de Champlain. Professor Finley-Croswhite is Professor of History at Old Dominion University and author of Henry IV and the Towns: The Pursuit of Legitimacy in French Urban Society, 1589-1610 (1999). She is working on a scholarly project on tetanus in the French colonies in the eighteenth century. |
