| DESCRIPTION: | Please join us for the last ever performance in Brooklyn Colleges Gershwin Theater! Brooklyn College’s Department of Theater will present Brian Friel’s Dancing at Lughnasa. Dancing at Lughnasa is an intimate, lyrical look at an Irish community and a family at a crossroads in the late summer of 1936. Infused with traditional Irish airs and dances, and popular songs of the ‘30s, this 1992 Tony Award winner for Best Play. Performances takes place Nov. 11-14: Thurs. - Sat. at 7:30 PM; Sat. & Sun. at 2 PM and Nov. 19-21: Fri. & Sat. at 7:30 PM; Sat. & Sun. at 2 PM | ||
