Nuts and Bolts Pre-law Workshop |
| DESCRIPTION: |
Doing targeted internships is an essential part of preparing yourself for both getting admitted to and surviving law school. Speakers will include professionals from such areas as government, policy, the non-profit sector, and legal firms. They will describe their career paths and offer advice on acquiring the skills and experiences you need to pursue and succeed at a legal career. Skills such as advocacy, communication, logical thinking, and persuasiveness, will be covered. Experiences discussed will include community involvement, advocacy, commitment, etc. This workshop is designed for students seriously contemplating law as a career. |
