"Italian Ambassador’s Talk About The Transatlantic Partnership In A Changing World" |

The “Martin and Syma Mendelsohn Lecture in International Relations” is proud to present Italian Ambassador Giulio Terzi di Sant’Agata, who will discuss the relations between Italy and the US and the central role of the Transatlantic partnership and NATO in today's hot spots, including Libya.
Ambassador Terzi, who assumed his duties as Ambassador of Italy to the United States in October 2009, was previously Italy's Permanent Representative to the United Nations where he also headed the Italian Delegation to the Security Council in 2007-2008. Humanitarian intervention and protection of civilians in armed conflicts were among the major issues Ambassador Terzi focused on during his participation on the Council.
