| TITLE: | The Hidden Homeless |

| DESCRIPTION: | Every year, more than 2 million people experience homelessness, including 1.3 million children. Come join our panel discussion on youth homelessness and help make a change. Professor Alex Vitale from the Sociology Department along with Policy Analyst James Thrun from the Institute for Children, Poverty, and Homelessness, and Robyn Causey the Director of Vulnerable and Special Needs division of the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development will act as panelist for this event.We have been collecting items for children for the past few weeks and have had a large number of departments participating. We will be presenting all of the donations we have obtained to an organization that will participate in the event. | ||
