| DESCRIPTION: | Many natural phenomena can be described by models that involve probability. We will discuss some of the following models: random walk percolation and voter model. We will address some of the exciting related questions such as what are the smartest strategies when gambling in Las Vegas. The models that will be described are simple and can be understood with little prior knowledge of probability. | ||
