| TITLE: |
A Roundtable on Brooklyn and Development |
| DESCRIPTION: |
A follow-up to the 2009 conference Dreamland Pavilion: Brooklyn and Development, the goal is to explore the past, present and future meanings of development in Brooklyn. What are the significant current shifts in the borough's infrastructure, population, culture, and economy. In whose name and for whose benefit are these shifts occurring? What role do individuals or communities have in shaping changes that affect them directly and indirectly? What opportunities exist for greater civic engagement with those changes? |
