| TITLE: | Celebrating the Culture, Music and Scenic Beauty of Siciliy |

| DESCRIPTION: | This audio-visual presentation by Lou Barrella will explore the diversity of cultures that make up the complexity of Sicily. Musical examples will be drawn from classical, folk and operatic sources. The vocalizing will run the gamut from the sublime to the ridiculous. Poetic samples will demonstrate both philosophical and humorous expression, as well as the individuality of the Sicilian language. The photographs and video examples will cause inspiration, awe and a desire to visit this ancient land. Expect to listen, look, and participate in our celebration of “Sicilia Bedda!” Food and refreshments will be served. | ||
