| DESCRIPTION: |
In this talk, Professor Theodore Raphan will discuss ideas of commutative and non-commutative operations and their mathematical underpinnings. He will show how these are handled in the neutral circuits that control head and eye movements and what implications this has for understanding how the brain controls movement. He will also discuss some controversies regarding this. |
