| TITLE: |
CELEBRATING THE SUCCESSES AND INVESTIGATING THE CHALLENGES OF MENTORING AT BROOKLYN COLLEGE |
| DESCRIPTION: |
Mentoring is an essential part of being a successful professor, but what exactly does it mean to mentor one’s students? What does successful mentoring look like? How can Brooklyn College assist its professors and students in advancing the mentoring relationship? What are the pitfalls to be avoided? And how can we recognize good mentoring when it occurs? Come and participate in a discussion on these and related questions with current BC faculty and former BC students!
Undergraduates are encouraged to attend! Come with your questions about applying for graduate school and bring with your applications. We will be workshopping graduate school applications!

Annette Danto (Film/TV.R) Dorian Chandler (YAI/NIPD Network)
