| TITLE: |
Unique solutions at Google: Computer Science gets practical by Raymond Blum |
| DESCRIPTION: |
Google has realized a new scale and scope of computer systems
architecture. This has introduced problems whose solution
cannot be "Googled" or found in the repertoire of any individual research team member. At Google, classic computer science techniques are taken from the ivory tower and applied to real world problems. Raymond Blum will present some of these problems and explore the techniques used to solve them.
