Danny Kopec (CIS) The “New Millennium Student” comes “equipped” and trained with technological advances over the prior generation of students. Besides access to the World Wide Web, sophisticated cell phones, and other wireless technologies today do seem somewhat “deskilled” when it comes to critical thinking and analytical tasks. The issue for consideration and discussion is “How can we bridge the gap between student’s ‘technological capabilities and their abilities’ to apply their skills to acquiring deep subject matter knowledge, understanding, and problem-solving?” | ||
