MRIP Info Meeting |
| DESCRIPTION: |
Dear Brooklyn College Student:
The MARC Research Introduction Program (MRIP) is looking for students interested in the biomedical or behavioral sciences (i.e., Biology, Psychology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc). MRIP is open to freshman, sophomore, and first-semester transfer students who are also defined as minorities in the sciences. Some of the benefits of MRIP include free tutoring workshops, individualized academic advising, and exploratory seminars about careers and graduate programs in the biomedical/behavioral sciences.
(MRIP is an introductory program to MARC. MARC is the Minority Access to Research Careers program, an honors program that supports juniors and seniors with an interest in biomedical research. MARC offers financial support in the form of a stipend and tuition scholarship, the opportunity to conduct research with a faculty mentor, and a variety of academic and personal support programs that increase student academic success.)
