Lisa R. Morris—Brooklyn Public Library

“The Brooklyn College Conference Center is one of Brooklyn’s hidden treasures. This accessible six-story building with a spacious penthouse is the perfect venue for business and personal events. The Administrative Office and support staff are very professional and easy to work with. During the planning stage of our annual staff development event, I visited the site on numerous occasions and was greeted by Mitzu Adams and her staff each time with professional, courteous and approachable mannerisms. The employees run the operations of the center efficiently and with little or no challenges. This was the first time our organization held its annual event off-site, and we are very pleased. All of the center’s employees were involved, including the director of the center. From the moment we arrived to the end of the day, the staff saw to our immediate needs as well as anticipating those needs. Overall, we were greatly satisfied with the facility, the staff and the entire day. We look forward to working with the center for future events.”

Keith Mitchell—President, OARC Inc.

“We were impressed by the helpful, friendly and flexible approach of Brooklyn College’s staff, who went to considerable lengths to ensure the exacting technical requirements of our event were met. We found the venue and catering arrangements well-matched and cost-effective to our needs, and would be happy to recommend this facility to others.”

Ken Eym—Store Team Leader, Target

“The Brooklyn College staff was very welcoming and most accommodating to our business needs. Their exceptional guest service will always be appreciated.”

Joe Figueroa—Leadership Coordinator, Council for Unity

“I am a program associate at a nonprofit organization. We organize numerous youth events during the school year. We had our annual Holiday Open House last year for Christmas, and our experience at Brooklyn College was very good. We plan on doing more events there in the near future.”

Joseph Baird—Director, Intake and Admissions, Brooklyn Developmental Disabilities Council

The Brooklyn College Conference Center staff helped plan the logisitics of our event, such as space planning, audiovisual support and catering to help ensure our conference ran smoothly. The center offered many options to maximize the space for our event at a reasonable cost.”

Kimberly George—Executive Director, Greater Brooklyn Health Coalition

“The Brooklyn College Conference Center is a welcome resource in our community. Affordable space for community organizers was badly needed, and the conference center is the perfect answer. It has everything one might need for any event. It is modern, well-equipped, versatile and served by friendly and responsive staff.”
