Step 1: File for Graduation
To participate in the Commencement Ceremony, you must have filed for graduation before the specified deadlines. All filing for graduation is done through CUNYfirst. Please review the detailed instructions on how to file for graduation.
Step 2: Invitation Letter Application for Overseas Guests (Optional)
If you are inviting guests from other countries to attend the ceremony, you may need to submit an Invitation Letter Application for Overseas Guests.
Step 3: Reserve Commencement Tickets
If you are an eligible student and would like to attend the commencement ceremony, you must reserve tickets using our online reservation system via BC WebCentral from March 27 to April 9. For more information, refer to ticket information.
Step 4: Pick Up Your Commencement Tickets
Refer to ticket information for date/time and location of ticket distribution.
Step 5: Purchase Your Academic Regalia
All graduates are required to wear their respective cap and gown to participate in the ceremony. From May 1 to 26, Academic Regalia will be available for purchase at the Brooklyn College bookstore in the basement of Boylan Hall.
Master's Academic Regalia: $65
Baccalaureate Academic Regalia: $40
Optional Stole for all graduating candidates: $33
