The Office of Student Life and Housing promotes campus life and Residence Life programming for Brooklyn College students who on or off campus. For students wanting to live near campus, the office offers referrals to the nearby Residence Hall as well as other housing sources in the Brooklyn area.
The office encourages students to build a community on campus and is focused on guiding students to campus resources that can assist with their matriculation at Brooklyn College.
The Residence Hall at 1Kenilworth Place provides residential living for students from Brooklyn College and other colleges. It is owned and operated by RHBC Management LLC, a private company. Brooklyn College is not involved in the management or operation of the Residence Hall. As of the Fall 2016, the owner no longer permits Brooklyn College RAs to live in the Residence Hall. As a result, Brooklyn College cannot provide onsite staff to fulfill the functions of an RA. Students should direct housing-related issues and concerns to RHBC Management.
