SERVA (Students Engaged in Responsible Volunteer Action)

In recognition of the importance of volunteer service in leadership development, Brooklyn College operates the SERVA Program. SERVA is a registry of students' volunteer service and a source for information on volunteer opportunities both on and off campus. Eligible students performing significant volunteer service can receive a service honors notation on their college transcript.
The SERVA application is now part of your Co-Curricular Transcript. Log into your BC WebCentral and click on Co-Curricular Transcript under the “My Info” tab.
To be eligible for SERVA credit you must complete the following:
- Minimum of 100 hours of volunteer service within two consecutive semesters.
- Six service education units within two consecutive semesters.
- Student must also have a minimum overall GPA of 2.50.
