October 23

Brooklyn College faculty and Ph.D. fellow composers George Brunner, Douglas Cohen, Doug Geers, Whitney George and Nicholas Nelson have works performed on the Circuit Bridges concert at Gallery MC, Manhattan, 8 p.m.

October 25

First of our fall 2014 free Saturday workshops. This week: "Composing Music for Video Games," presented by John Cleary. 1–4 p.m., 116 Roosevelt Hall Extension. Open to the public.

International Electroacoustic Music Festival, day one. Featuring special guest composer/video artist Dennis H. Miller.

  • 12:30–2 p.m.: Dennis Miller lecture on visual music and his own work, 206G Roosevelt Hall Extension.
  • 2:15–3 p.m.: Screening of selected works by Dennis Miller, Studio 312.
  • 7–9 p.m.: Concert of visual music works, co-curated by Dennis Miller, Studio 312.
