Betsy Sklar

Associate Professor, Computer and Information Science

Betsy Sklar is a computer scientist and director of the Multimedia Computing (MMC) program at Brooklyn College as well as one of the principal investigators of the CUNY Agents Lab. A former cellist who double majored as an undergraduate in computer science and English, she now focuses her research on multiagent simulation of learning environments, interaction mechanisms in multiagent and multirobot systems, interactive agent-based learning, educational data mining and data visualization, and educational robotics. She is also member of the Performance and Interactive Media Arts (PIMA) faculty.
