TUTORING SCHEDULE

The Learning Center Tutoring Schedule is subject to change, so please check back here periodically or stop by the center to ensure that you have the most updated list of our offerings.

Students who wish to work with a writing tutor (Monday through Friday) may call 718.951.5821 or stop by the center (1300 Boylan Hall) to make a one-hour appointment.**

** No appointment is necessary to see a writing tutor on Saturdays and Sundays; writing tutoring on weekends takes place on a first-come, first-served basis.

For all other subjects, students may drop in (no appointment is necessary) during our advertised days and times (see schedule below).

Peer-to-Peer Tutoring Available at Learning Center

NEWS / UPDATES

December 11, 2019

This Friday, December 13, 2019, the Learning Center will be closing at 1pm for our annual staff holiday party. Therefore, there will be no tutoring or access to computers between 1pm and 3pm this Friday.

December 11, 2019

Please note that the Learning Center will be operating under a special Finals Week schedule, beginning on Monday, December 16, 2019 and ending on Thursday, December 19, 2019. This means that we will have new hours of operation as well as a more condensed list of courses offered. The Finals Week schedule can be accessed by clicking the "FALL 2019 FINALS WEEK TUTORING SCHEDULE" link under our normal tutoring schedule. The Finals Week Schedule is also posted in the Learning Center (1300 Boylan Hall).

December 4, 2019

The Learning Center will be closed this upcoming weekend on both Saturday (December 7) and Sunday (December 8) due to scheduled maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience.

November 25, 2019

The Learning Center will be closed throughout the Thanksgiving break. On Wednesday, November 27, the Learning Center will close for tutoring at 2 p.m. and will remain closed until Monday, December 2. This means that there will be no tutoring on Thursday (November 28) and Friday (November 29) and no weekend tutoring on Saturday (November 30) and Sunday (December 1). Happy Thanksgiving!!

A new updated version of the Learning Center Fall 2019 Tutoring Schedule is now available. This schedule is subject to change, so check back soon for updates on additional course offerings for the semester.

September 26, 2019

The Learning Center is now officially open on the weekend. From now until the end of the semester, feel free to stop by for tutoring in math and writing every Saturday and Sunday (provided that the campus is open) from noon to 4 p.m. All tutoring on the weekend is conducted on a drop-in basis. No appointments are necessary. Check our schedule for specific course offerings in math.
