Samuel H. Kress Foundation Fellowships
The Samuel H. Kress Foundation supports a series of competitive fellowships to the Latin/Greek Institute to exceptional art history graduate students at Ph.D.–granting colleges and universities. Preference will be given to recently accepted graduate students with a proposed focus on the history of European art. Fellowship support consists of $2000 to be applied towards tuition. Interested students should apply to the Institute and indicate their interest in being considered for a Kress Foundation Fellowship.
Floyd L. Moreland Scholarship Fund
The Floyd L. Moreland Scholarship Fund of the Latin/Greek Institute, supported entirely by contributions from graduates and friends of the Institute, offers tuition assistance for Institute students with demonstrated need. A separate scholarship application must be filed, which be obtained by emailing Rita Fleischer.
Filing this form also makes the student eligible for consideration for the Christina M. Dunkle Memorial Scholarship Award. These awards are privately funded and are not administered directly by the City University of New York. All applications with complete supporting materials must be received before April 12 for the 2013 program. Incomplete applications will not be considered after that date.
