The Magner Career Center offers several workshops and events throughout the year to help students improve their career skills and as well as kickstart their unique professional journeys.
Every semester, we invite various professionals from a wide variety of specialties to speak with our students about career advancement. Previous guests have included professionals and alumni from organizations such as Con Edison, DKNY, Estee Lauder, Facebook, the Ford Foundation, the Foreign Service, Google, JP Morgan, KPMG, New York City Department of Education, the New York Knicks, New York State Department of Labor, The New York Times, and many more!
Job Fair Preparation Students learn about the different types of career fairs as well as how to prepare for and participate in them.
Job Search 101: Résumé, Job Search, and Interview Skills Students are directed and navigated throughout the entire job search process, from résumé to interview, start to finish.
