Katherine Lindberg

Assistant Professor


Prof. Lindberg?s directorial debut, Rain (E.P. Martin Scorsese), celebrated its World Premiere at the 2001 Venice Int?l Film Festival followed by the North American Premiere at Sundance. The success of her film?s launch helped propel Katherine into the film industry and she began collaborating on a wide variety of independent and studio-driven projects, including several for television. In 2014, Appian Way (Leonardo DiCaprio) and director/producer Alex Aja (The Hills Have Eyes) attached to her series, Migrate, which is now in development at NBC/SYFY, while GeorgevilleTV continued to develop her series, Tomorrow. In 2013, Brett Ratner and Barry Schindel attached to Tomorrow; in fall 2014, Brendan Fraser joined as lead. Currently, Prof. Lindberg's adaptation of the science fiction classic, The Drought, by JG Ballard is being walked out by Michael De Luca (The Social Network), and her feature script, Forgotten, is under option with Blumhouse Productions (Whiplash.)
