Before coming to Brooklyn College, Judith Corbett Carter taught at the University of Phoenix, Peirce College, Drexel University and Philadelphia University. Prior to a career in higher education she served as a probation officer for the District of Columbia and a social worker and mental health counselor in Toledo, Ohio.

Areas of Expertise:
Her area of expertise is counseling at risk populations. Her research interests include spiritual and personal characteristics of effective religious and nonreligious leaders, and student success in higher education equal opportunity programs.
