Steven Remy is a scholar of modern German history with an interest in the Nazi era and the postwar decades. His first book, The Heidelberg Myth: The Nazification and Denazification of a Germany University (Harvard, 2003), examined the responses of scholars to National Socialism. He is currently writing a book about Jewish refugees from Nazi Germany who served in the U.S. Army in World War II.
