Middle Childhood Education (5-9)

Dazzle students with the wonders of numbers and nature.

You love math and science, but you also know how daunting they can be for students in grades five through nine. Our master’s programs in middle childhood education lead to degrees that will allow you to teach these traditionally challenging subjects to students in these grades. You’ll be ready to teach biology, chemistry, earth science or physics if you select the science route. If math is more your style, you’ll soon be able to share your passion for algebra, calculus and geometry. Either way, you’ll be influencing students at an early age to enter these fields that have been declining in the United States for much too long and to reverse an unfortunate trend.

Graduates of our middle childhood program come out with a very clear direction on how to teach children the often intimidating subject of science.
