Political Science

Advance your knowledge of politics and power.

Intrigued by politics, you want to expand your knowledge of this influential arena that affects every aspect of our lives, from the laws that govern us to where we can travel to who we can marry. Our political science master’s program offers you a choice of three concentrations: political science, international affairs, or urban policy and administration. Whichever you select, you’ll be able to tailor your studies to your specific interests and goals, take a broad range of courses, learn from experienced faculty members, and find professional opportunities through the connections you make in the program. Following graduation, you’ll be prepared to begin your career in public service, whether it’s making tangible differences in your local community or becoming the most powerful leader on earth.

The most inspiring (and my favorite) aspect of teaching political science is working with students from all over the world who bring their own experiences of political involvement and helping them fortify their interests with scholarship and debate.
