Spanish

Build on your solid foundation in Spanish language, literature and culture.

Perhaps you’ve fallen in love with the prose of Márquez and Borges, or you’ve been exposed to Spanish in your own family or neighborhood, or through a summer study program in Barcelona or Mexico City. Now you’re ready to delve more deeply into the wonders of this poetic Romance language. Our master’s in Spanish program will lead you into a more comprehensive knowledge of the culture of Spain and Latin America, a more intensive understanding of Spanish grammar and vocabulary and an enhanced appreciation for classic and contemporary Spanish poetry and prose.

My favorite part about the Brooklyn College Spanish graduate program is my professors. They are very supportive, and there is a good communication between them and students.
