Broadcast Journalism

Become the person who tells the story behind current events.

Our B.S. program in broadcast journalism is considered among the best in the country — and it’s the only program like it in the City University of New York. Because the program is part of Department of Television and Radio, you will be able to hone your technical and reporting skills by using industry-standard equipment in new state-of-the art television and radio facilities. Best of all, you will be studying with journalism professionals whose contacts will help you secure internships at such media as the print and web outlets of The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, MSNBC, NPR and WBBR.

I switched to broadcast journalist because TVRA 1165 with Professor Dunphy blew my mind.
