We’ll conduct your education on the stage — exactly where you belong.

Join one of New York City’s top-notch institutions in the training of musicians.

Famous author Aldous Huxley wrote, “After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.” Ready to take up the challenge? Our undergraduate music program is the place for you to give expression to “the inexpressible” by mastering your instrument. In addition to improving your technique, you’ll add a wide knowledge of music history and theory to your repertoire. At Brooklyn College, you’ll be under the tutelage of accomplished professors who are not only excellent musicians but also caring and insightful teachers.

The Conservatory of Music immerses students in current music thought through world-renowned organizations on campus, such as the H. Wiley Hitchcock Institute for Studies in American Music and the Center for Computer Music.
