Exercise Science

Love to break a sweat? Run to sign up for an exercise science major.

Exercise and sports relax you and bring you joy, and you live to feel the rush of endorphins. Major in exercise science and you’ll start down the track to being able to use your enthusiasm to jump-start your career. In addition to studying human physiology and anatomy, first aid and the fundamentals of physical conditioning, you’ll have the opportunity to select various sports to specialize in, including basketball, fencing, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis and volleyball. You’ll come out of the program with a renewed appreciation for the benefits of working out.

I want to teach college-level kinesiology. I discovered my love of teaching in the physical education program at Brooklyn College.
