Brooklyn College is widely regarded as a leader in the field, so when you enter our program you’ll receive superior in-depth training needed to be an effective communicator. You’ll be taught to recognize, evaluate and rehabilitate difficulties with speech and hearing. Through course work, you’ll become familiar with theories of language development, and you’ll learn about the anatomy, physiology and neurology that make speech and hearing possible. Through clinical work and internships, both on and off campus, you’ll gain invaluable experience working with people of all ages in many different kinds of careers that require expert communication skills.

  • The Diana Rogovin Davidow Speech-Language-Hearing Center at Brooklyn College allows students to receive supervision as they fine-tune their clinical skills and help members of the greater Brooklyn College community improve their ability to communicate.
