Entering Transfer Students
The number of Pathways courses that you will be required to take at Brooklyn College will depend on the number of transfer credits that are accepted after review of your transcript(s). For more information about your Pathways requirements, visit the Transfer Student Services Center.
Note: If you have fulfilled College Option course requirements in a previous CUNY baccalaureate program, your College Option requirement at Brooklyn College may be reduced.
In general, the following guidelines apply for transfer students with:
Fewer Than 30 Credits
- All of the Pathways Required Core and Flexible Core not already fulfilled
- Four (4) College Option courses: two (2) courses from different areas in the CORC 3000 level and two (2) additional courses
More Than 30 Credits and No Associate's Degree
- All of the Pathways Required Core and Flexible Core not already fulfilled
- Three (3) College Option courses: two (2) courses from different areas in the CORC 3000 level and one (1) additional course
60 Credits (30 in Liberal Arts From Seven Different Disciplines From a Domestic Four-year College)
- Two (2) College Option courses from different areas in the CORC 3000 level
An A.A. or an A.S. Degree
- Two (2) College Option courses from different areas in the CORC 3000 level
An A.A.S. Degree
