BC-JCU Italy Exchange

Beginning in Fall 2014, a new Brooklyn College study abroad exchange program will offer Brooklyn College undergraduate students the opportunity to study for a semester at John Cabot University in Rome, while paying CUNY tuition and fees. By participating in this exchange program, you will enjoy the history of Rome and the culture of Italy, meet students from around the world, and earn credits toward your degree. Please note that most JCU courses are taught in English.

  • Minimum GPA of 3.00
  • 45 credits competed before participation in the program
  • A clear academic and disciplinary record

Estimated Costs of Attendance (per semester)

Approximately $11,000, plus CUNY tuition. This cost estimate includes housing and university meal plan, permit to stay, books and supplies, personal expenses, international airfare, and CISI health/travel insurance.

Financial Aid/Scholarships

Financial aid may apply, and alternative loans are available. Scholarships that apply to this exchange program are: SASA, Tow and Furman, among others (see Scholarship Opportunities).
