BC-JCU Italy Exchange
This Brooklyn College study abroad exchange program will offer undergraduate students the opportunity to study for a semester at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy, while paying CUNY tuition and fees. By participating on this exchange program, you will enjoy the history of Rome, the culture of Italy, meet students from around the world, and earn credits toward your degree. There are limited spots available for this program, however, if you are not accepted as part of the Exchange, you may have the option to direct enroll at John Cabot at a discounted John Cabot tuition rate. Please contact a study abroad advisor in IEGE for details. Preference is given to Brooklyn College students, but all CUNY students may apply. Please note that most JCU courses are taught in English.

Requirements to Apply
- Minimum GPA of 3.00
- 45 credits competed before participation in the program
- A clear academic and disciplinary record
Estimated Costs of Attendance (per semester)
Approximately $11,000, plus CUNY tuition and fees. This cost estimate includes housing and university meal plan, permit to stay, books and supplies, personal expenses, international airfare, and CISI health/travel insurance.
Financial aid may apply, and alternative loans are available. Scholarships that apply to this exchange program are: Furman, SASA, SIROCS, among others (see Scholarship Opportunities).
