Office of Research and Sponsored Program

The Office of Research and Sponsored Program’s goal is to expand the external funding base of Brooklyn College’s research, teaching, and public service missions. Office personnel provide pre- and post-award services to staff and faculty engaged in sponsored program activity.

Thinking about Submitting a Grant or Proposal?

Our office serves as a liaison between Brooklyn College and the Research Foundation, CUNY’s fiscal agent for grants and contract awards. All hiring, purchases, and travel payments are processed through us.

We also serve as the authorized signatory for all research proposals submitted on behalf of Brooklyn College. So if you are planning to submit a proposal, let us know! We require two weeks notice to ensure proper internal review, institutional approval, and coordination with external agencies prior to submission.

If you know you would like to submit a grant but are new to the whole process, fill out this form and we’ll get back to you.
