Professor Robert Widman joined the faculty of Brooklyn College in September 1978. He was an adjunct associate professor at New York University Graduate School of Business (currently the NYU Stern School of Business). Prior to his tenure at Brooklyn College, Widman spent five years with the accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand (currently PricewaterhouseCoopers - PwC). Widman is licensed in the state of New York as a certified public accountant (1976). He has been published in numerous professional and academic journals, including Taxes - The Tax Magazine, The National Public Accountant and The Enrolled Agent and has published review material for the CPA Examination. He teaches in several of Brooklyn College's graduate programs, including the master of fine arts in performing arts management and master of science in sports management. He currently teaches financial accounting, taxation and accounting for the non-accountant.
