Accounting

Our accounting program leads to highly successful career paths in business, nongovernment, and government fields.

If balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow ignite your interest, Brooklyn College is the place for you. Our accounting program teaches you the principles and methodology of the subject, and sharpens your analytic and communication skills, while stressing professional ethics in today’s business environment. On your way to a long-term professional career in public, private, or government accounting, you can follow one of two tracks: the route geared for students who are interested in taking the certified public accountancy (CPA) exam or the non-CPA option. Either way, our program will provide you with the assets you’ll need in a competitive business world.
