Frimette Kass-Shraibman knows that each learner has to be taught in his or her own way in order for learning to happen (e.g. learners may be visual, aural or tactile learners). Therefore, she tries to combine a variety of activities in the classroom so that all have a chance to learn. Furthermore, recognizing the diversity of the CUNY student body and realizing that not all students understand her examples, she is always looking for ways to make those examples understandable to all of the students. In addition, she tries to instill a sense of social responsibility in her students. Accountants are in a unique position as tax advisers and business advisers to influence businesses and taxpayers. This influence should be taken seriously by accountants and used as a positive social influence.
