Areas of Expertise:
In addition to her teaching and administrative work, Rubinson creates cross-disciplinary training programs for psychologists and educators. Scholarly and research interests are in collaborative environments and their relationship to school culture, school-based consultation, LBGTQ advocacy and service delivery models that foster social justice. Her expertise is in preschool assessment and intervention, particularly in the area of professional collaborations and early literacy.

Professional Leadership
First New York City Metropolitan Region Supervision Conference, with Professor Rubinson as chairwoman, was held on Dec. 2. This conference brought together school psychology faculty from programs throughout the region and field site supervisors to discuss common interests and concerns.
