Konstantinos Alexakos is the program coordinator for adolescence science education (biology, chemistry, physics and earth science, grades 7-12).

Relationships between emotions and teaching and learning including co-teaching, radical listening, cogenerative dialogues, emotional climate, breathing, and mindful practices.
Interdisciplinary aspects of fictive kinship, emotional bonds, identity, perseverance, and success of minority high school students in science, with emphasis on gender, race, and sociocultural issues
