GLARE

GLARE (GLBTQ Advocacy in Research and Education) is an active group of faculty, staff, and students in the School of Education. Its mission is to prepare future educators who are able to foster school climates that affirm the dignity of all. The members of GLARE are interested in collaborating with other Brooklyn College faculty and staff to confront LGBTQ discrimination in all its forms.  We are dedicated to creating safe and affirming spaces where all students, teachers, administrators, and other personnel in schools and other educational settings are welcomed and where all facets of the college’s diversity are celebrated.
