Barbara Rosenfeld specializes in teaching graduate courses in educational technology with a focus on the integration of technology tools in the classroom. She presently teaches graduate courses in methods of teaching mathematics and advanced study of pedagogy and curriculum in childhood education. She supervises both undergraduate and graduate student teachers. Since the spring 2013 semester, she has been the Faculty Student Teaching Coordinator for the CBSE Dept. She has taught an undergraduate science/math/technology course, and has supervised graduate students in the Teaching Fellows program. She has also teamed with colleagues to teach graduate research courses. Rosenfeld is a certified classroom teacher, having taught elementary/middle school in New Jersey. She is an experienced conference presenter and has written articles and book chapters on the integration of technology in teaching. Prior to Brooklyn College, she was at William Paterson University.

Areas of Expertise:
Educational technology is a field that is often conceived as synonymous with computer education; however, the field is much broader. Educational technology includes the design, development, presentation and evaluation of instruction, and, in fact, encompasses the entire instructional process. Rosenfeld is the only faculty member with a degree in this discipline in Brooklyn College's School of Education. Her research focuses on the integration and use of technology in educational environments.
