Adjunct Assistant Professor, Violin
Patinka Kopek has performed at the Aspen Music Festival, Carnegie Recital Hall, Town Hall and numerous music festivals. She was artist-in-residence for 10 years with Andreas Quartet. She has held faculty appointments at Manhattan School of Music, Queens College, Aspen Music Festival, Interlochen Arts Academy, Sarah Lawrence College and SUNY Purchase. She has taught master classes in Tel Aviv, Israel; Prague; Shanghai; Ottowa, Ontario; and at U.S. universities. She has served as coordinator of Feher Summer Institute in Israel (1993–97). She has been director of the Young Artists Program, National Arts Center, Ottowa, since 1999, and a co-founding faculty member of the Perman Music Program since 1995.
Kopek holds a bachelor of music degree and a master of music degree from The Juilliard School.
