Pianist Taka Kigawa’s performance of composer Jason Eckardt’s composition Echoes’ White Veil at New York City’s Le Poisson Rouge was named among the Best of 2010 by The New York Times on Dec. 19, 2010. Also, NPR named the International Contemporary Ensemble and the JACK Quartet’s performance of Eckardt’s composition 16 at another concert at Le Poisson Rouge one of the best of 2010.
