Robert Cohen has been production stage manager for Broadway, regional productions and New York City Opera; entertainment operations manager for the Tropicana; production coordinator for Lincoln Center Festivals; and associate producer/writer for Westinghouse TV. He currently serves on the executive board of the Stage Managers' Association, of which he was a founding member and chairperson. He has taught at both Emerson and Stockton state colleges, and has delivered guest lectures at Yale, SUNY Purchase and West Chester University. Cohen has served as a stage manager mentor for seven USITT conferences and has also participated on many professional trade panels. His publications include articles on "Theatre in Cuba" and "Stage Management use of Computers in Rehearsal," published by the British Association of Lighting Designers and by the British Association of Stage Managers, respectively.
